    GPS fuse trouble

If I recall, newer GWs use a fuse block that has the square autofuses. Us guys with older ones have the tubular fuses with the brackets that can come loose or corrode. This sounds to me like a loose connection. Are the ground and "+" wires securely connected to the fuse panel? I'd remove...

Grady White 223 water pressure question

On mine it goes to a breaker on the panel. I think that's how they start out life when they leave the factory. In my experience though, sometimes things get rewired along the way.

Grady White 223 water pressure question

I'm assuming you have filled the water tank. Check the pump first and make sure you have power to it. On a 223 it's located on the bulkhead next to the battery on the starboard side. Disconnect the wiring and put a meter or test light on it to see if you have power to the pump. If you do, the...

HELP ... high RPM'S low speed

I think you have the right prop. You need to trim it up a bit which will get you closer to 5500. And I think the pitot tube is clogged. Let us know.

HELP ... high RPM'S low speed

Do you have an iPhone? If so, download the Navionics app (free). Then run the boat. It will use the phones GPS to tell you how fast you are really going. Or - if the boat has a GPS, pull up the speed display and see what your actual SOG (Speed over Ground) is. If it's in the 40 mph range...

HELP ... high RPM'S low speed

How were you measuring speed? If from the speedo its possible / likely that the pitot tube hole on the front of the lower unit needs to be cleaned out. If you got 28 on the GPS was it knots or mph? At 5000 rpm you should be in the neighborhood of 40 mph. I've owned that same rig and top speed...

Have you downloaded the manual off GW site? I think it tells you how long the pvc chase is....you can add what you need on either end to make sure you have enough. I'd order my wire from genuinedealz.com before I'd pay WM for it....save your $$$$

    Replacing horn on 2003 228

Make the hole bigger if necessary. Then put a clamshell over it and seal it up with silicone. That's what I did many years ago on a 2001 226 that I owned.

Sea-Trial Done - questions for the pros here!

Re: Taking a Sea-Trial Tomorrow - Anyone wanna help the new Looks like a nice rig....BUT....those sunken engine bolts scare me. That is clearly not normal. I think you are headed for a transom at some point. Unless you are ready to bite off that project, I'd move on.....
