    fuel sending unit recomendation

I'd order the 10....that way it will drop right in and when it reads "E" you will still have a bit of reserve in the tank. Installation is not difficult, but this is a job that requires either hand or air tools only. One spark from an electric or cordless screwdriver and you can end up with a...

    fuel sending unit recomendation

Are you talking about the fuel sender (for the gauge) that mounts in the tank? If so, then get a WEMA. (www.wemausa.com) Call GW customer service and they will give you the tank depth. Subtract 1/2" and order the resulting length directly from WEMA. If you are referring to a fuel flow type...

Tilt and trim motors for yamaha 225 2 stroke

Did the sender get reconnected? Did the sender get broken? You should be able to reach under the bracket and feel it. You should also be able to check in the motor pan and make sure everything is connected. Just follow the cable.

    HELM SEAT ADJUSTMENT

You can replace the lever assembly. You might want to disassemble the seat and replace the slide glides. They aren't particularly expensive.

Wiper Insert for 2001 GW 208 Adventure

NAPA 60**70. ** is the length. I think it's a 16 and not a 13. The entire assembly is only about $10. Save your energy trying to get the refill out and just replace the entire assembly.

    Trailer brakes and actuator

Replace it. They aren't that expensive. Make sure you get one with a solenoid so that you can back up.

Filling holes in the console electronics compartment

Spectrum makes a gelcoat patch kit in the GW color...should match pretty close. Or, just put a screw and finishing washer in the hole and don't worry about it.

    Black Acrylic Hatch Cover

Check Rusty Ron's (in Norfolk VA), Great Lakes Skipper, or Marine Surplus out of Sarasota FL. All 3 of those have had GW stuff in the past....you might get lucky. Beyond that you may be forced to have something fabricated. If you have to go that route, check with Boat Outfitters...

    Aux Fuel Tank

I misread the original post...my apologies. If you want to add the additional 56 gallon tank, it can be done. Sometimes, GW would put the fill/vent plumbing in place but not connect it. If so, it's an easy job. If not, then you will need to run and fill hoses in addition to cutting a second...

    Aux Fuel Tank

The main tank in a 2002 248 Voyager is 105 gallons. The auxiliary tank, if equipped - is 56 gallons. Are you sure you only have one tank in the boat?

    FUEL FLOW MEASUREMENT ADVICE

I'll get you a picture in the next day or two. My fuel filter is mounted in the port side compartment. I cut the fuel line and placed it inline with the arrow facing up as Lowrance/Simrad specifies in their instructions. From there it was simply a matter of running the N2K cable from the...

Fuel tank replacement request - 1990 Tournament 19ft

X2 on WEMA. Get the length, call and order it, and UPS will bring it to your door in a few days. It will drop right in...connect the wires, and you are all set.

Fuel tank replacement request - 1990 Tournament 19ft

I too am surprised that a poly tank is leaking. Are you sure it's not either your fuel or vent hose succumbing to ethanol?

    1986 190 tournament floor question

I had an '86 190 Tournament as well.....the floor was OK but the hatch over the floor storage compartment got soft. Same type job - remove the hatch - grind out the fiberglass behind it. Epoxy in a piece of marine grade plywood and glass over it. Not terribly difficult and a good experience...

    FUEL FLOW MEASUREMENT ADVICE

I'd reach out to Andy at SIM Yamaha (www.simyamaha.com). He may be able to tell you from the serial number if your motor is compatible. Or - he may tell you where to look under the cowling for the plug that you will connect to. And if your motor is compatible, he will make you a good deal on...

    Dry Tortuga's here we come

Jeff - I figured it might have been you who met Bob when he mentioned a guy who keeps his 330 in the Keys. The Keys weather has been weird for a couple weeks now....talked to a number of people who really fought it during mini season last week.

    FUEL FLOW MEASUREMENT ADVICE

If you do the GFS-10 or the data from the motor you will need an N2K backbone. For $70, it's a good starting place anyway. I'd check and see if your motor is compatible. If it is then all you need is the Yamaha interface cable and the N2K backbone. You will receive all sorts of interesting...
