    yea....magical how that happens....those zukes are awesome! Fuel burn is a little better than our old Yammie 250s, but she is definitely faster both at cruise and WOT.

    we have a track underneath the back of the roof. Another set of zippers on helm curtains separate from rear curtains and snaps all around. Custom made and is great in wind.

    We just installed the sea dek on our 282. Love the helm and steps. Also installed in aft cabin as that is our storage area for all our gear.

    Spreader lights quit...

    We had the very same problem. It was a bad switch. We separated the spreader lights from the dome light. Put a standard toggle switch inside the top box for the spreader lights and bought a new standard LED dome light with both bright light and red light for at night. All good now.

    We run a pair of Garmin 7610s with a through hull GT41 transducer for clear Vu and Side Vu scanning. Simrad AP 24 autopilot and Garmin xHD 18"radar. All is networked through a NEMA 2000 backbone. If we had to do it again, would probably add a Garmin autopilot for ease of use with displays, but...

    Stereo Replacement

    We went with the fusion BB-100 and got rid of the head unit. Its all remote and we can actually run through our Garmin on the NMEA 2000 network. we put the fusion remote on our helm dash.

    Love the new Zukes.....burning 1.8 at Cruise. Found we had to trim up quite a bit higher than our old Yammie 250s. Better burn and faster at cruise is what we gained.

    We looked at the Sureshade, but just had other issues. We would have to modify our rod holders on the top and the mounting location for the crank so it would not interfere with other installed equipment. Loved the idea, but in the end decided poles and shade could be put up in just a few minutes...

    We had a cover made locally, but bought the rod holder posts from Birdsall. Used the same track as our cockpit cover.
