    Block GW sailfish 282

So... the hard braking method obviously isn't as easy as with a roller trailer. But if you wet the bunks really well and crank the winch really tight, you CAN get the boat to move. It does somewhat depend on the truck you have and how good the brakes are, though. Silicone spray is another...

    Deck Drain Hose

It needs to be reinforced hose. I used vac hose, as well, when I replaced mine. I honestly don't know if it's officially approved for "below the waterline" but I have quite a bit of experience with this stuff over a few decades on many boats - I felt very comfortable using it regardless of...

    Block GW sailfish 282

You didn't mention... is it a roller trailer?

    Block GW sailfish 282

Yes, you could block anywhere under the keel. But you're over thinking things. Loosen the strap and loosen the winch stand nuts is probably all you need to do to slide the stand fwd. You should be able to then crank the boat back into the winch stand with the winch. Or, get it as tight as...

    265 X water intrusion

Definitely an easier fix than messing with the scuppers! Hopefully that's it.

    265 X water intrusion

Put the plates back in and douse them with water. Do they leak excessively? Throw some tape over those pie plates and weigh the stern down - that (and/or the above) will work well enough to prove/disprove if they're the source of the leak.

    265 X water intrusion

If you're saying that the leak ONLY happens with extra people in the boat, then yes, scuppers (or a loose hose) are the first thing to look at. Add some weight to the back - Rubbermaid containers on the platform filled with water, for example. Inspect. If pump is coming on as often as it...

Suggestions for Surfboard/Paddleboard rack for Freedom 255

I have not - but a concern pops into my head... that is going to drastically hinder your ability to see. That could actually turn into a very dangerous situation and cause an accident. I realize it may not be as convenient, but it would probably be better to figure out a system to hold them on...

    Trans Cracks

I was actually able to zoom in on the photos and it helped a bit. But I agree with the above that you're most likely do for a transom rebuild. The extent to what that entails will be figured out by whomever you have do this and some exploratory surgery. There's not much else we can help with...

    Check System ?

Some MFD's allow you to clear things - some don't. Sound like you need the dealer computer to do it. For now, if it's not causing problems, I would wait to get it done - unless it's relatively convenient for you to get it to your dealer.

    Check System ?

I'm not sure what engine you have, but in most cases, when a boat has a single engine it is referred to as the stbd engine. If that's the case with whatever you have, then you likely just have a erroneous code from the low battery situation - clear it and see if it comes back. Also, figure out...

    Locked brakes

Is there slop in your lever? I'm positive that the lever on the new trailer I saw was in the same position as the OP's and the trailer rolled along easily. But that info is not matching up with your experience. I wonder if there's enough slop in the lever to go from "your" normal position to...

    Locked brakes

It's funny, the other day was the first time I saw this exact style at the shop and the first thing that went through my mind was "Wait, the e-brake has been tripped". But sure enough, the wheels were spinning normally. This happened to be a brand new trailer, too. I'm so used to the older...

    Locked brakes

Are you sure you're not talking about the older version of that style? I just had one of these in the shop the other day and it was exactly like the OP's picture and the brakes were not locked. I looked in the manual you linked... in the bleeding section there is a picture of it in the normal...

    Locked brakes

Not on that style, though. With that style, it sticks almost straight up in the "normal" position. We still need to hear back from the OP as what, specifically, he means. At this point, we're just guessing. Although, with the amount of spider webs on that thing, the trailer could have been...

1984 22’ seafarer kicker mount questions

Put a piece of plywood on the inside of the transom - the slight softness of the plywood will take up the uneveness (including on the washer/nut). It won't be perfect but it will be totally fine. Come back a a few days or weeks later and check to see if you can tighten a little more. Have...

    Battery tender

You'll be fine even if it was once a month... as long as you remember to turn everything off when you leave :) Save your money - you'll have plenty of chances to spend it elsewhere on the boat!
