Ram Pin Locks for Gimbal Mount Chartplotter

I don't think anyone actually has to have "used" them to figure out what they are. It's pretty darn simple to understand the concept... I mean, I'm capable of adding 2+2 and that's about the extent of brain power needed to see what these are about. It is what it is. What do you want to know...

    Windlass

If it works properly (which it sounds like it does because you said it doesn't get hung up) and the parts diagram doesn't show it... I think you've answered your own question :)

bow mount trolling motor on a 225 tournament DC

Were you initially able to deploy before cutting the rail?

    Transom Moisture-Grady Wet Models

It's not really a "model year" issue. It's a "how it was maintained" and "where was it used" thing. Salt will cause more issues than fresh water. The problem is that the transom is not sealed/fiberglassed - it's only filled and then covered. The "bang plate" then reacts with the screws...

    251 ce battery/electrical issue

It will depend on the switch. Most switches are "make before break" and then it will be fine. I guess I'm "assuming" that GW would use the better style switch.... But yes, if unsure, don't do it :) I "thought" that, unlike with an alternator on a sterndrive, that it was OK to do so with an...

bow mount trolling motor on a 225 tournament DC

I have not done this particular install, but MinnKota makes some nice quick-disconnect mounts that may be helpful. You would probably still need a platform to get the motor past the rubrail... I think. Can it be deployed and retrieved underneath the railing? It might be possible... but I...

FS Trailer for Grady-White 232 Gulfstream

FYI, you should add the specs of the trailer and a few pictures. Things get sold much easier/faster when there are specs and pics. Unfortunately, just saying "for GW 232" doesn't tell the specs as it may/may not be under or oversized. Specs will offer legitimacy. Is Michigan a title state...

    251 ce battery/electrical issue

We're kind of flopping all over here. Let's start with some solid data. With the engines off, put the battery switch on "both". Turn your stereo on for about 10 minutes. Then turn everything off, including the battery switch. Use your volt meter directly on each battery and report what...

    251 ce battery/electrical issue

HOWEVER... this is a 2021 boat and it is under warranty. Have your dealer fix it. Problem solved :) Running with the battery switch on "both" to fix an excessive draw is NOT a "fix" ;)

    251 ce battery/electrical issue

FYI, the kill switch being flaky wouldn't cause you to lose power to the dash electronics, so that isn't the issue. From what you've written, it sounds like battery #1 isn't being charged while on engine power. Start the engine and check for charging voltage at Battery #1. The second issue...

Groco pump -simple macerator retrofit- 265 Express

What you want is a "momentary on" switch. Use that search term - they're very, very common and easy to find. It doesn't necessarily have to be a button - it could be a rocker switch. Another option is a simple key switch and use the "start" terminal to energize the macerator.

    Need some bow roller advise

I'm confused as to what you CURRENTLY have and what you bought. Can you clarify? But, generally, if you bought something bigger than the hole it has to go in (is this what you are talking about?) then it won't work without cutting/modification... and then you have to ask yourself if it's worth it.

    Switch Panel

Take pictures and notes - even label wires and where they connect if you want. You'll be fine. Take pics of YOUR setup - don't compare to someone else's as it will likely look a little different depending on who initially rigged it. Wires should also be color coded based on standards. Does...

    Using an IPAD for Navigation.

I think it's a nice solution to having a backup to a real marine chartplotter. I've always been hesitant to have one as my primary, though, because of.. (1) in full sunlight an ipad will be hard to view and (2) it can overheat and turn off if it's gets too hot on a warm, sunny day. You've got...

    2021 freedom 215?

OK, that helps, Joe - thanks for the extra info. You're quite a bit off from your max RPM and with the light load you had you should be able to get a whole lot closer than you are, if not right at 6,100. Either something is wrong with the engine (highly unlikely given you don't seem to have...

    Removing a bolster problems

Go back to how you started - the grommet. That's the way to do it. Move the foam away and find the screw head. That's the way it was put it in so that's the way it comes out :)

Where do you mount flags on a 375 Freedom?

Since you're not moving when diving, you can put that one on the VHF antenna with Charveloix clips. That was you can get it nice and high. Can't help too much with the other ones... other than to say that it seems you may need to mount a flag pole on the hardtop or possibly at the stern?

    2021 freedom 215?

Sorry, that was supposed to say "Is the "prop" in perfect shape?". I edited it. For now, assuming "yes"... -- Double check and report back as to the prop... size/pitch/make. -- What holes are the engine mounted in? It might be too low. If everything else is good... the things I asked about...

    2021 freedom 215?

What's the max RPM range for your engine? What prop? Are you trimming up until speed no longer increases or "just before" ventilation? What type of load in the boat during those runs? Is the prop in perfect shape? Painted bottom... but is there a slime layer from sitting?
