    Repower ?

I would check with your dealer - I have heard them tell people the big engines have way too much torques for the older transoms to handle - weight is not the only issue you have to consider with the the big boys

    repower question....

I'm with all the votes for HPDI - Dealer told me once the torgue on the 4 Strokes is more of a concern than the weight - I have had 4 strrokes and a 200HPDI - They are both great engines - you will be vey happy with the HPDI. Clean, quiet, dependable and very fuel efficient

    Cabin Cushion Mildew

If it is not too bad sometime a good dose of sunshine will take care of it - I use a solution water and bleach - about 1 part bleach to 10 parts water. I just spray it on the mildew and walk away - an hour or so later it should be gone - I have not had any color issues with the bleach at this...

Side window fell off (1987 overnighter) How to mount?

It is really a simple operating window - as I recall from my 85 Seafarer the window does not slid in - it is wedged in against the frame and when the window lock is put on it holds it in place- I know this is problably the best way to explain it - if you look at you other window it may help...

Help settle a Ring Free debate.

Every engine I ran before using ringfree neeeded to have the engine rebuilt - they were all 2 strokes - now running 2 four stroles I have continued and have not had a problem for 7 years - maybe the quality of the newer yamaha 4 strokes, however, for the price of replacing those 2 puppies, I am...

Anyone have two radar domes on a Sailfish?

I have had the furuno radar - I added a Multi Function Lowrance GPS / Sonar -- one of the options on the Lowrance is to add radar and then the unit has the capability of adding the radar as an overlay on the chart plotter. I would probably never run both at the same time.

Anyone have two radar domes on a Sailfish?

I have a Furuno Radar mounted in the top electornic box and I had a Lorance GPS and a marine radio in the electronic box at the helm. Last year I replaced the GPS / Sonar in the helm with a Lowrance GPS / Sonar - this unit has the capability of ading radar and you can overlay the radar on the...
