Rule 56S Automatic 4000 Gph Bilge Pump

True. Unless you have a dedicated de-watering pump, and even then, you are much better off making sure you have the things on board to help you plug a breach, and be prepared to go in the water to do it, if necessary.

Who Follows the "Great Deals Thread"?

Fishtales posted a binoc link from the thread, but who follows it daily? It can cost you a lot of money, and if you don't sign up for Crazybeard's email notifications, you miss a lot of chances. https://www.thehulltruth.com/boating-forum/779976-tht-great-deals-thread-239.html

Good afternoon guys got a question (93 explorer)

I changed all mine a few years ago on a '93 Tournament, and although they did not "look bad", several snapped off in my hand just from tugging on the hose.

    An enjoyable book to read

Nothing on mine has been working, but scrolling over it just now, that last icon, "Toggle BB code" highlighted, and clicking it brought back the toolbar.

    An enjoyable book to read

Jenkins also wrote "Walk Across China", and "Walk Across America", and others. IIRC, titles are underlined, not quoted, but for some reason, my toolbar at the top of the reply box is greyed out, and does not respond. Anyone else have this?

Using raw water washdown for live baitwell

Think of it as installing a pump with a second inlet, rather than a second outlet. That second inlet is like adding a tee connection under the pump. The pump that you install in that second inlet has its own wiring and switch, and it’s own outlet to the live well.

    Am I being overcharged?

The problem I have with one fixed labor rate is not knowing if some work, like decals, is done by the top mechanic, or by the dock hand. Should you pay the same for both?

    another newbie, washdown pump question

If it is working, I would think that you could hear it run, and find it by sound. Turn everything off, turn on the key, check the fuse, or reset the breaker, Check power to your switch with a volt meter, turn it on, and stick your head in the bilge. If it is a demand pump, turn on the spigot...

Lessons learned for a new Tournament 192 owner

    1. The outboard clunks pretty good going into gear. I suspect this is a linkage adjustment issue. Any advice? I know older outboard clunk more than any of us would like...but how much is normal. Even my brand new yamaha 25 thumps a little going into gear. The more you try to ease it, the more...

Mine is a circuit breaker, not a fuse. If you have two batteries and one battery switch, the breaker will be off the switch.
