looking to buy 2000 - 2016 Gulfstream 232 twin engines

Depending on the hours, this would probably be my first choice, especially considering the price. https://www.boattrader.com/boat/2003-grady-white-232-gulfstream-9506335/

    gulfstream vs whaler conquest

I can't give really any personal opinions on a Boston Whaler other than just specs and from what I've seen/heard/read online since I've never owned one of them before. That being said, based off the pictures of them I don't really like the layout, especially of the stern with it having a motor...

    Grady-White Factory Tour

Would love to go for a factory tour but I'm out here in Seattle and unfortunately on the opposite side of the country from the factory. I was considering doing the factory tour when I bought my boat out in Maryland back in October of 2021, but I don't think they were doing tours still at that...

    New To Me Sailfish 282

Unless this is the same boat... here's the same year, make and model of boat for sale on Boat Trader which in picture #16 you can see both water outlets. Also, the second attached link is the 2003 brochure for all GW boats of that year, as well as the third link is the owner's manual...

looking to buy 2000 - 2016 Gulfstream 232 twin engines

There's at least two different ones on Boat Trader, have you looked on there or any of the other boat sales websites? Perhaps some more information like your location, your budget, how far you're willing to travel and so forth might be beneficial to add as well...

Newbie - Fisherman or Coastal Explorer

I don't have any experience with either model but if I were to pick between those that you mentioned, just from looking at the pictures and the specs on the GW website, I'd pick the 236 Fisherman. A longer centerline, longer length overall, heavier weight, rear fold down seat and the transom...

    New owner in Annapolis MD

I saw the Annapolis, MD location in the title of the thread and figured you were talking about Tri-State Marine. I actually bought my boat used from them back in October of 2021. She's a 2004 Grady White 228 Seafarer that I purchased for $26.5k, of which I bought a plane ticket, flew out, did a...

    Boat trailer for sale

Mileage/age is a huge factor to consider with any vehicle, and especially trailers/boat trailers... everything from the tires, brakes, axles, bearings, suspension, general wear and tear, etc. Anyone trying to argue the flip side of the coin stating that these things aren't of any real importance...

New member, question on an older 225.

Well... I look at what I paid for my boat, which was $26.5k back in October of 2021 in Maryland and compare it accordingly to what others are paying for their boats. My boat is a 2004 Grady White 228 Seafarer with the factory hardtop, a 2004 Yamaha F225 4 stroke with around 1k hours, a 2009...

Have you Installed Bennett SLT10 on Spirit

I'm guessing probably not. The 175 Spirit appears to have been discontinued after 1997, which was almost 30 years ago, and it doesn't seem to be a very popular boat on here as it's only 17' in length. Also, per the brochure for the 1997 model year at least, it doesn't show that trim tabs were...

New member, question on an older 225.

I'm sure it's going to be a bit of an unpopular opinion, but I'd also maybe consider some newer alternatives for not much more money. I'm a firm proponent of buying as new/big as you can the first time and hopefully in doing so, you'll avoid needing to do much, if any work, to the...

305 Grady White Express, 2007 for sale

Agreed, it's pretty odd that the OP hasn't come back and confirmed or denied anything, especially since they signed on yesterday morning and I'm assuming must've seen your message. Also, if you click on the OP's profile... there's a profile question that someone asked him from back in 2020...

305 Grady White Express, 2007 for sale

There's a different number on Google as well as the website for the company, of which you could always try calling that if you haven't already. (727) 344-2628

    Gulfstream cabin functionality

The new 232 Gulfstream's, and I believe the older ones as well, do have the bunkbed style of cabin, but they also should come with the cushions to fill the cabin where you'd normally be walking. So, you could in theory sleep one or two smaller people on the bottom portion and then likely another...

    Radio for a 228 seafarer

I had those on my boat, and I think I still have them in the shed somewhere, but the brackets broke when trailering the boat back from the east coast. Called up PP to see how much replacement brackets were and they were more than the cost of just swapping them out with some inexpensive...

    New Switch Panel 228 Seafarer

Looks good. I’ll probably do this over the winter for a project. What did New Wire charge you to do this?

New interior on an old boat

Looks way better than the teak imo, which is one of the many reasons why I went with a 1998 and newer GW 228 Seafarer. The teak looks decent when it’s nice and new, but after it starts fading, it ages the boat rather quickly. Good work.

    2008 Seafarer 228 w/F250 For Sale Nor Cal $58k

If anything, I think you’re slightly underpriced. The local GW dealership up here in Seattle is called Jacobsen’s Marine, of which they just sold pretty much the exact same boat as yours a few months back and had it listed for $65k. I’ve got the same boat as you but it’s a 2004, it’s a fantastic...

    Fisherman 222

My thoughts on the matter, and admittedly I have no experience with a 222 Fisherman, but I'd either mount something inside of the electronics compartment/dashboard behind the wheel or something outside of it. I've got a 2004 GW 228 Seafarer with a Garmin 943xsv located inside the electronics...
