If you haven’t already called them, it appears that All Marine Trailers may have a 22-24 in stock. Or can build one in a few days.

You can do your own title search. Google Florida VIN lookup and it will take you to a link for the state. Enter the HIN and it will tell you the title status, as well as if there are liens and who holds them.

    2016/ 228 Seafarer 300 HP

From the pics, the trailer looks like a Road King RKAVTB2 series. If it’s 7K gross it’s about 5900 net. if it’s the RKAV 20-22 I’d suggest seeing if the dealer has an RKAV 22-24. The bracket pushes some weight further back. Congratulations.

If you are in Nokomis, shoot up to St Pete and buy the trailer from the Owens boys. (slideon.com) It will fit the boat like a glove, and if you do have any issues, they are Johnny on the spot. I'm 500 miles away from them and the couple of rare times I've had an issue, the parts go out UPS the...

    New fishfinder/gps shopping

You could remove the plexiglass door, have an acrylic panel made, and flush mount it there. I have a VHF and 7” combo set up exactly that way on my 225. If you have a Navionics subscription, you will be swapping the chart card every year when you renew. Yes you can update online, but it’s a...

    New fishfinder/gps shopping

I'm partial to the GO units (I've had 2). One thing to think about though, is the GO units have the card slot on the back of the unit. If you plan to flush mount, this means you will have to disassemble your dash panel to get to the back of the unit to run updates, swap the card etc...

    Rigging transducer cable

I considered doing the same thing. The problem is you can only go so far astern going under the gunwale. At some point you have to either cut a hole, or dip down through a rod holder, to get into the stern area.

    Dual console window bumper/stop/pad thing

https://www.taylormadeproducts.com/hardware/walk-thru-door-parts/ They will sell to the general public, but it's low priority. It took me over 2 months to finally get my hands on latch/hinge assemblies for my 225 walk through windshield.

    Rigging transducer cable

I’ve run cables through GWs for over 20 years. Usually a lot of tape on the plug and an electricians fish tape will do the trick. Plan on losing some knuckle skin, and plan on getting frustrated. Eventually it gets through.

    2019 Freedom 215 gas tank

Apparently so. I haven’t seen a side vent in awhile but things seem to have changed. I stand corrected.

What is the right propeller for my boat

Ken is a good place to start. I'd start with a 17" SS prop. Yamaha SWS II or a Merc Mirage Plus. RPM range is 4500-5500 for that motor.

    Yamalube vs. Other

I’ve used Pennzoil XLF for at least 20 years. Never once had an oil related issue. $17/gallon at Walmart or Academy all day long.

    OX66 Oil drip/ leak

Bloodweiser-that’s hydraulic fluid. Your seals on the SeaStar Ram are looking and need to be changed out.

    2019 Freedom 215 gas tank

Clearly an issue. I'd go ahead and get it back in. Everything vents through the fill cap nowadays....no vent on the side of the hull. I think you have a pinch in the vent hose somewhere.

2020 208 Bimini boot "snap fast" not holding

As Dennis said, I think your boot cover is backwards. Try reversing it and see if it lines up on the snap hooks that way. I owned a 208 about 15 years ago...I seem to recall having a similar issue.

    New member - big question

As others have said, each one will be different. You may have some leeway to spread the bunks out too, and drop the boat an inch or two. Additionally, if you only need an inch or two to get through, then you can always deflate the tires to roll it in, then pump them back up when you pull it...

Steering on my 2007 Seafarer has some play at slow speeds.

http://www.boatsteer.com They are an authorized SeaStar outfit. Pricing is much better. You send in the old one and they will ship you a remanufactured one with a warranty.

    Bought a 2000 Seafarer 228

Back in 2000, the standard tank size was 92 gallons. There was an optional 56 gallon second tank available. With the advent of more efficient 4 stroke power, GW made the main tank bigger and eliminated the secondary tank option. Cruising range is the same or better (on paper anyway).
