    New fuel tanks!!!

Check all of your hoses and connections first. Pull the tank for inspection and pressure test before you order anything. I found fuel in the bilge of my old Sailfish after a fill up. Traced it to the fill hose.

Garbage can, ping pong table, carboard over your kitchen table. You don't need a special stand for this.

89 Sailfish 255 rotten fuel coffin - HELP!

Agreed. From what I can see, your stringers are toast. You may want to consider having the boat structurally evaluated by a surveyor. They should be able to tell you the extent of work needed to restore the hull integrity. Then you can make an educated decision on what path forward is best...

Like this... I'm with him in that that lifting bracket that bolts the lifting eye to the hull to the bow eye is shot.

Is a used GW with HPDI engines worth it.

I would buy a well maintained OX66 over a HPDI or 4-stroke any day.

    1991 175 Spirit Rub Rail

I've got 50+ feet of OEM rubrail off of the 227 I threw away. It was a mid-Atlantic boat so the fading should be less than what you have on our boat. It's your's if you cover shipping.

1997 Marlin 30 balsa core moisture

Steer clear my friend. The basla was put there to add strength to the hull sides. if it's rotten it's not able to serve it's purpose, the hull integrity is compromised. It would probably be fine for casual running around, but get caught in one of these nasty summer Chesapeake storms, or take...

    Bought a 1987 226 Seafarer!

I got the tank for my old 227 from Sunrise Marine Tanks (not to be confused with Sunshine). Sunrise was the cheapest by far and although it wasn't the prettiest tank I've ever seen, it I was happy with it. http://www.sunrisemarinetanks.com/ If I remember correct, the guys name was Tony.

    Hullside Delamination,Wet Stringer

You need to get clarification on exactly what is meant by the "XL plywood is covered by a limited lifetime warranty" statement that's in the brochure. I believe that warranty is solely against rot and covers only the cost of the wood replacement. If so, they legally aren't on the hook for...

200 HP Motor Too Short For Grady?

Shaft length looks fine to me. I would be more worried about that prop. What's the diameter and pitch? It looks completely wrong for the boat to me.

    Installing/Replacing Hardtop?

F that. Any local glass shop should be able to repair the existing top for way less.

Thru hull sizes on a 90 226 seafarer

Pretty sure the ones for the front and rear bilge pumps are 3/4" and the fishbox and helm drains are 1". I have all new Attwood SS ones I pulled from my 227 if you think you might be interested.
