    Fischer Panda Valve Adjustment

I did it and it wasn't that difficult. If you are used to using a feeler gauge it is easily accessible.

    Replacing cockpit floor drains

I have these on watch list at Ebay. Might not be the right size, but I saved for future consideration: 90 Degree Mirrored Stainless Steel 1-1/2 Inch Boat Deck Drain Marine Plug Yacht

    Replacing cockpit floor drains

Like to see what you replace them with. Are you using existing hoses or replacing all the way to the thru hulls? Able to reach the thru hulls?

    Won't start on #2 battery

Some engine control units (ECMs or ECUs) are very sensitive to voltage. I have seen engines that appear to turn over fine without spark due to the voltage drop at the ECU that seasick mentioned. I'd check the voltage drop while starting on each battery and I think you'll find the #2 has a...

    Replacing cockpit floor drains

I'm considering the same. I believe if you remove the diesel tank and can crawl into a tight space, it can be done without cutting the deck. Port, I'm told, can be done by removing the batteries and battery/fuel selector panel. Neither side is easy it appears. I'd be happy to have you tell...

Yamaha Water in Engine ....indicator light back on

I use silicon grease/paste for a variety of applications, especially when plastics or rubber are involved. I also use a lot of food grade silicon spray but it has less staying power. I stay away from all petroleum based products if rubber/plastics/gel coat is nearby. I find it less expensive if...

Yamaha Water in Engine ....indicator light back on

For reference, I've owned my 330 in FL on a lift for 9 years now and if I don't keep the bigger 200 gallon tank at least 3/4 full or more I can get a quart of water or more from condensation in 6 months. Keeping 350 gallons of fuel most of the time is quite a performance detriment, so I don't...

Best Way to Remove Diesel Soot

Not perfect, but started using Mothers Ceramic spray coating in that area and it seems to do a lot better than any other waxes I have used.

They are lighter than the picture.

    Screw Cover Caps in Almond

Both 8/8-122 and 123 are very close. I chose beige 8/8-122 which is slightly lighter in color. They are both very close and if you change out adjacent ones, you won't notice any difference. Go to the website Pro-dec and look.

    Manasquan Inlet remnants of Zeta

They are belted in and helmeted. Capable of a complete roll over! Self-righting.

New to me Marlin (part two) - past owner?

Had a marlin of that approximate vintage up here on the nature coast, but I don't remember it had 350s. It recently left. so could be? I'd be interested in getting the numba's if you're comfortable sending them. Garmin or .gpx format works for me. If not, fully understand...

    Self bailing cockpit scuppers

Given the exposure of your access plate to water, I'd opt for a screw in plate versus the pop-up it appears you have now. Much more secure.

    Center of gravity

Russ, the CG information is available in chart format from Grady White. You can ask them to send you the latest chart or the one that is most accurate for your year model. Example attached:

    Self bailing cockpit scuppers

With your scupper outlet and deck level below the water line (as it appears) there is no way for it to be completely self bailing. It appears from your pics that you only have about a foot of freeboard at the transom. I don't think that GW would have designed the scuppers to be that low...

    Floor valves

Assuming the seacocks operate smoothly, it looks fine, same as my 2007 330. Marelon elbows. but even if they fail (crack) you can shut the seacock. I'll bet those are original from GW.
