Take a look at these Gemlux holders- especially if you're going to install an access hatch. The bottom is provided with a 1/4" NPT connection for a drain. No visible screws as well. Built like a thru hull! I have 2 on my 265 transom and they've been perfect for over 5 years- very high...

I replaced mine with Seaquest Upholstery Vinyl Pleated #025 Sea White that I got from http://textilecommission.com/ Best price and quick delivery. My boat is an 04 265 Express and the color of the Sea White was exact.

I'm in E Falmouth and also have a 265, which is great for the Sounds. Let me know what you want to catch - fluke, black sea bass, stripers, cod, tuna, etc. and I can share some "hot spots". I've been fishing these waters for over 40 yrs and have some decent experience.

I have a 2004 w/ the notorious F225 motors. I bought it with 160 hrs of her and 17 pitch props, when trimmed, the revs were too high, so I went the aforementioned 19 pitch props, which are just right.
