    Freedom 225 dimensions/cover

The overall length including the bracket and motor is closer to 25'. I've used Boatcoversdirect.com before and they have a wide variety of materials available. Their covers are made to fit, and are the closest thing to custom without having one made by a local canvas shop. From looking at...

    204 Overniter repower

I think you need to look at a 200 HPDI. The weight is an issue with the 4 stroke. You might PM Bobs Cay...he has that exact setup.

    Glove Box/Lockable Box Measurements

Looks great! I like the 1/2" starboard. The more I look at mine, the more I may redo the entire panel in the off season and add the extra inch or so. It will finish it out and look better, I think.

Fuel sending unit 1993 209 Escape frozen screws HELP

If you can't get the screws out by hand after soaking them, you need to use air tools. I went through this about a month ago when I changed out my sender....don't take a chance....if you don't have the tools, recognize that and have a shop with the right tools remove the screws.

what h.p.2 repower seafarer outboard on bracket

Weight is going to be an issue if you go F250...I'd look at an E-TEC, as well.

    Sound System for Tournament 190

I did this system in the 225. Head unit on the dash. CD Player and black box mounted inside the starboard side storage compartment. I'm looking for a set of under gunwale speakers for the stern, and a set of MA-800s to replace the existing box speakers. Hodge's price on this unit is...

    Switch panel replacement

Sadly, VectorLED has run into some issues and I don't think he is in the panel business anymore. I'm going to redo my panels, as well. I will probably use 1/4" black starboard, and cut and wire them myself. It's a good offseason project.

Gas in bilge, very small amount 272 98 Sailfish

I agree with Seasick. A 14 year tank (or two) is nearing the end of it's service life....and taking a chance can lead to things happening, none of which are good. Pull the cover off and figure out where the fuel is coming from. A small amount probably means a fill hose....

When did the 22-8 come with 300 hp.

Looks like they bumped it up in the 2011 model year. My guess is it was tied to the release of the new 4.2 300, which didn't carry the weight penalty that the 350 has.

    Standard Horizon CPF190i FF/GPS

It's a good unit. Been around for 2 years or so. Has built in coastal charts. You will need to add a transducer. That said, it's a 5 inch screen. I'd buy new if it's only a few bucks more.

Couple of questions new boat owner

Welcome to the forum. Depending on where you are located, a local upholstery shop may be able to make a set of cushions. Also, keep an eye on eBay...they pop up there from time to time.

    Glove Box/Lockable Box Measurements

It's not impossible to find a hardtop...sometimes someone will buy a boat with one and then remove it to clear a low bridge. Or - it does happen that one will wind up on the rocks and need to be parted out..

    Glove Box/Lockable Box Measurements

GW emailed me the dimensions for all the e-boxes at one point in the past...I was able to find it and pass it along.... I'm pretty sure the OP was looking for options to flush mount electronics in lieu of the door. He also is looking for a used hardtop for his 208 (in another post)....

    Glove Box/Lockable Box Measurements

You can do it either way. A lot depends on where you are going to screw into to secure it. If you have enough room (like where the weatherstripping meets the frame) then an exact size cutout would work. This is a previous 226 that I owned...the starboard was cut larger than the door...
