That single experience is not normal. I've trailered with many Yukon's/Tahoe's/Suburbans - most with lesser engines... a couple with larger. A bunch of them were older ones with even lesser braking systems. They are EXCELLENT trailer vehicles and have no problem stopping weights like that...

Start the engine. Stop the engine. Drain the VST tank and make a note of the amount of fuel that comes out. Prime it up again and run the engine till it bogs out. Drain the VST tank and compare. The logical thing is that the VST tank is running out of fuel - but doing that should verify and...

Nowhere in your previous posts did you mention you monitored the Winky in real time when the alarm sounds. But it seems you mentioned it in a latter post. Just to be clear... DID YOU monitor in real time and find that there was no code? IF the computer is putting the engine into limp mode...

But what code did the Winky flash? That's the data you need - which is better than guessing at things. The Winky will get you into the complaining system - then diagnose from there.

Yes, that looks like you're in the ballpark for the height. Best thing to do - so you know FOR SURE - is to physically measure the height when you get to it.

Sometimes smacking the screw head with a hammer and a socket extension breaks up the crusty stuff, too.

PB Blaster is a good one. Spray it couple times over the course of a day or two for best results. Try repeatedly tightening/loosening. Use an impact driver - but just one or two little quick "hits" in each direction - not full power, either. The shocking motion of the impact driver helps.

Go to GW's site and download the owner's manual for it. That will have lots of specs in there. The weight listed will likely be "dry weight"... which means boat only - no engines, gas, options, etc. Add those on top of the dry weight. Then add the weight of the trailer - different trailers...

Do you have the motor trimmed ALL the way down/in during the hole shot? And, you SHOULD be using quite a bit of throttle. Do you have trim tabs?
