Any auto parts store will have the 7 to 5 adapter. They come in two styles...1 has a length of wire and a 7 round on one end and a 5 flat on the other. The other style is a 1 piece molded plastic adapter. Expect it to set you back about $10 or so.

Depends whether it has a hardtop. My '99 228 w/ 200 SWS ran 42-43 all day long. Was a nice, albeit thirsty, rig. The hardtop will cost you 2-3 mph due to weight and drag.

John, Congrats on what sounds like an impending purchase. Another thing to consider is where you are going to use the boat. Depending on the location, some of the mapping solutions (Bluechart, C-MAP, etc...) may have better detail.
