    Sailfish 255 Vent Window Wanted

There are a number of posts on GG on the vent window. I did what Legend did. Tempered glass. Makes sense to order a few - have a spare and each piece is less.

    OEM horn cover replacement

Clean it, sand it with fine grit and spray with plastic compatible paint. Then throw it out! Have a starboard one made - it won't get UV damage and it won't rust. I use a guy in Cape May called Offshore Eddy who makes lots of starboard custom accessories. https://offshoreeddy.com/index.html

    1988 20ft Overnighter 204-C Fuel Tank specs

The 1/2" PVC pipe connects the forward bilge to the aft bilge. Its fuel should leak from your tank it could be confined to the fuel compartment and/or drain into aft bilge. On my boat GW plugged it is plugged in aft compartment to prevent a fuel leak from getting into cabin and creating a...

    Is it Gas?

This is water and fuel from my tank years ago. The fuel will be on top. You could see if it will burn but be careful. Not sure what the snots are but not fuel. You could pull the deck and wash the fuel tanks down to get smells out of there. Get bow up high and get water to drain from fuel...

    Is it Gas?

I can't tell hold finds ow deep the water is but I would find a flat bottom scoop, collect some water in a jar and see what you get. Fuel will float. https://www.westmarine.com/plastimo-floating-poly-bailer-4503348.html I did tanks on my Islander last Summer. Where is the boat in CM?

    Windshield Rubber Grommets

Fuel will burn not explode. Throw a match in a container of fuel and it will burn - not explode. Throw that match in a partially full fuel tank and - kaboom! I handle raw fuel for my filters. I have changed sending units, pumped water out of bottom, pulled tanks, etc. Never comfortable working...

    Water in my gas

Don't use a dry gas additive! I use Sierra clear bowl filters.Run the boat and shake up the fuel in the tank. Drain filter before it gets too high. Repeat until you clean it up. If you drop the filter dump into container, pour gas back in and top off with clean fuel. Put filter back in. There...

    Canyon 306 Refueling problem

I doubt Grady White installs Euro sending units. Probably USA. Look at the sending unit top. There may be information etched. You need the length and resistance. I'm alway concerned about explosion hazard when working on fuel tanks. I put dry ice in fuel fill and add more when I pull the...

    Canyon 306 Refueling problem

The sending units have magnetic reed switches and resistors inside them. As the float moves switches open and close to create a variable resistance as above. The CL5 or Yamaha fuel gauge "debounce" the sending unit and convert to a percentage reading (CL5) or 8-bars of fuel (Yamaha gauge). Your...

Removing Lewmar Trust Joystick 330 Express

I looked around-no stock. Looks like Lewmar replace the GEN1 with a new joystick and converter module kit. I would call Lewmar USA 203-458-6200.

    Canyon 306 Refueling problem

GW uses the Perko vented fuel fills - the vent is inside the fuel fill. It could be the tank is nearly full and the tank sending unit is bad. This is obvious but I'll say it anyway - burn off plenty of fuel before pulling the sending unit - or you will have fuel all over the place! You can...

Removing Lewmar Trust Joystick 330 Express

Looks like 4 screws in the back hold it in. You could probably do it thru the Fusion or Yamaha computer hole if you can get them out. Also that joystick looks like it has been discontinued. Possibly find new old stock somewhere. There are new models too that should fit...

Removing Lewmar Trust Joystick 330 Express

You are going to have to get behind that thruster at some point. Maybe take the Yamaha computer out. Any access from in the cabin?

Check your fuses...all them before replacing stuff

Surveyor told me nowadays most boats "sink" in the owners driveway on their trailer! I own a self storage business that does boat storage. I see one a year like that.

How do you raise and lower this light?

I replaced mine two years ago when I refinished the hardtop. Shorter version same as had before. It's hard to reach up there but the nut is set tight enough I can raise and lower with one hand without have to adjust it.

Be careful prying the lens out. May have a small hole you can pull with a paper clip. No longer available so don’t break it! Electrical parts available from DigiKey. Search this forum for part numbers. Use DigiKey as search term.

Check your fuses...all them before replacing stuff

Depending on the boat’s age the owners manuals on GW site can be a big help with wiring and fuse diagrams/location.
