283 Release T-top canvas to Starboard conversion

Thickness depends on whether it is just for protection, or will servea as a platform to stand on, and mount radar, outriggers, etc. Also depends on how much crown you have in the frame.

    Accuracy of Yamaha gauges

Choose your fuel transducer according to how you want to see the readout, on your Yamaha gauge, or on your GPS. Mine is networked to my Lowrance. If you have twin engines, you definitely want two transducers, or you’ll either have to flip back-and-forth, or only see an average. I would want to...

    Tournament jump seats

My 93 has corner jumpsuits, just like the 19. Mine is a notch to transom.

    Accuracy of Yamaha gauges

Are you using an inline fuel transducer, or a feed directly from the engine?

    Accuracy of Yamaha gauges

Not sure what gauge you are using, but the procedure sounds wrong. You say that you reset the totalizer BEFORE each fill up. I think that you calibrate most fuel gauges by it telling you how much you need, you fill up, and then you tell it how many gallons it actually took. You should get better...

I have this factory helm cover, except wider, on my '93 Tournament dual console. https://www.popyachts.com/walkaroun...ite-24-offshore-in-bayville-new-jersey-122842

    Okay, she's here.. but.. lol

I replaced all the thru hulls on mine. They were the white plastic, and several just fell apart when I tried to loosen them. Most were also hard as hell to access on the inside, with nowhere to turn a wrench to tighten them up. I made a tool, so that they just had to be held in place on the...

    Okay, she's here.. but.. lol

I would put some hours on that boat, before I put $10-15K in a hardtop.

Covers for the helm on a Freedom 275

Does your boat have snaps along the top frame of the windshield, and side windows? My Tournament 22 has a cover similar to this, goes on/off in less than 2 minutes. https://www.popyachts.com/walkaround-fishing-boats-for-sale/grady-white-24-offshore-in-bayville-new-jersey-122842

Thanks for the pics. Looks like the wood extends below the glass, and is the actual support?

While you have that deck panel removed, would you mind posting a picture of how it is reinforced on the bottom?

    Trailer options - thoughts?

What is your tow vehicle? Do you have a 2 inch receiver on the current hitch? If you can't remove it, but have to go over/around it with a better hitch, it sounds like the frame for a bumper mount ball, where you mount the ball through the bumper into the hitch frame? That is the set-up that...

    Which windlass is this?

The Horizon 400 became the Sprint at some point. Not sure whether the 500 fell into the Sprint line, or not.

    Which windlass is this?

Lewmar/Horizon makes the Profish freefall windlass, and has the lion's share of the recreational windlass market, including the one on your boat. I am sure they could tell you what would would have a close, or exact, footprint. The Horizon line was made by Simpson Lawrence, and Lewmar bought...

    Bucktails

Be aware that these are lead heads, with the swinging hook. Not your typical one piece buck tail.

    Fresh Water Reservoir

If running the boat, I would not fill the tank. Leave some room for the bleach/water/soap to slosh around.

    Replacing Bennett Hydraulic Lines

OK, something new every day. I have owned a half dozen bennett tabs, and all have had the pump in the stern.
