    West Coast Drought

The concrete is not in view, it is right of the picture. Think it's about 3 feet down from last season, but 2 years ago Lake Tahoe was full.

    West Coast Drought

This was the boat launch I used last summer on Lake Tahoe. Glad I skipped the season pass for 2021, but shows how the dry winters in the Sierra Nevada mountain range impacts many things.

    Vent Window

I had the same problem with mine. The "fix" was nearly $500 for the hinge, gasket, glass and latch. Ugh indeed...I did use Marine glass specialties as Hookup 1 said. I don't envy making that decision again, I just went for it. Here is the saga-...

    Poorly installed kicker??

Agree with what PointedRose said. If you are nervous about water penetration, why not tape off the outside of the cover where the wires come out (exposed) and squirt silicone on the inside of the transom sealing it up, then remover the tape after it cures? Seems like it would be a cleaner...

Congrats! I have older Cannon Digi-Troll 10-TS downriggers and like them. I know the new ones have a lot more technology packaged in (i.e.-you can run them from your smart phone). I chose the tournament series because its white color instead of black. Looks very nice and clean. Enjoy your new...

    Looking at 228 or 258

Nice setup. Very fishy boat. I have my downriggers further away from the transom, but as long as you are catching fish it doesn't matter. Congrats on your purchase!

1987 228 Seafarer Aluminum tank and Fuel lines replacement

In my replacement, the newly fabricated tank is slightly narrower than the original for installation ease, so it holds 90 gallons now, but Sully is correct in 93 gallons original.
