Those issues you have sound like warranty to me. I would expect the dealer to come to my dock and fix those issues without any questions. Should not have those issues with a new boat. Especially a Grady.

Btw. Mine is wires with #6 wire. The longer the run, the thicker the wire requirement.too thin of wire could cause bad performance at the machine and overheat of the wire.

Maybe trace the wire from the lewmar breaker to the battery to see if the main breaker is hooked up to the circuit. If it is, bypass the main. Might not be a bad idea to replace the lewmar breaker for safety. Not like you won’t use it if you end up replacing the unit.

I am wondering why they wired the winlass through a breaker other than the oem lewmar breaker. I have mine coming straight off the battery switch and straight to the lewmar breaker. Then the wires go to the solenoid. Then to the motor.

I usually found the white powder in the fuel systems that contained ethanol. A moisture problem that ethanol helped to cultivate. More people are social distancing from ethanol and the white powder Cases are going down. Lol.

That is a great choice of anchors. Danforth is a pita with a pulpit.

847 works amazing for water pump housing o rings. Makes the impeller install easier so you don’t crush any o rings. Just don’t block the air prime passage between the top of the cup and the housing when sealing the small o ring.
