If you are afraid to cut a big hole, do a Std Horizon 1600 or 1700 with the remote mic option. The radio mounts under the console and the mic is all that's on your dash. Mount the ratchet and antenna on the outside gunwale...parallel with you...so you can reach it from the drivers seat.

Likely a 17 inch pitch black stainless....I believe it was the 17-M. My 180/150 carb SWS had that prop when I bought it....I swapped it for a 17" Mirage Plus....made a nice difference in holeshot...cruising speed was a bit higher....and top end was over 45 mph.

I've lost them as well. If the rubber stopper and bolt was in place, then the zinc split and the anode came off. If the bolt is missing, then someone with sticky fingers probably helped themselves.

Check all your wiring first. A loose ground wire on the sender will show an empty tank. If the wiring checks out and the sender is bad, call Grady and get the tank depth. Then order a custom one from WEMA. Website is wemausa.com. Sender should be 1/2 inch shorter than the tank depth.

Now that I look at it from GW204's point of view, it does appear to be in the motor well. Port side leads me to believe it's not a rigging grommet...could it have been a remote control for the stereo? Floating on your raft...want to change the channel...don't have to climb in the boat?

The wiring runs up into the motor pan and connects via plug. Access is a pain but it's not a difficult part to replace. It's easier out of the water though, for sure.

Depends. A GW dealer may have the measurements...if not the dealer will likely need the hull to adjust the bunks.

I have a 7000GVW trailer under my 223...you probably want to step up to an 8500 GVW. Lots of options....do you want to travel or buy locally? Adjustable or custom fit? I like Owens and Sporttrail for custom....and they generally price out pretty close to an adjustable LoadRite, EZLoader...

If you are referring to the PVC tube under the floor, that's what it's there for. Most GWs have at least 2 tubes running between the helm and the bilge. Use a plumbers snake and secure a piece of string or weed eater twine to leave in the tube. That way the next time you have to pull...

You are a little low... My 99 208 with a 200 Yamaha ran 43 mph at 5500 rpm. Was turning a SS 17" pitch prop. I'm assuming you trimmed it out? You might need to play with prop selection....

The cushion you are referring to is known as the "filler" cushion. If memory serves me correctly (I owned both a 226 and 228) the cushions rests on top of the edges of the panels on each side...there is no leg to support it. I also recall that it had plenty of support for me (and I am a "not...
