I am planning on modifying mine to a wing nut style. The factory just screwed them into the sides.

If it is like my Sailfish, look under thebottom of the pad at the mesh part. There should be some metal rigs in the mesh fabric. Those are the screw holes. It can be a PITA to remove.

I agree with gwwannabe. I would stick with the OX66 motors. For the money you save up front, you can buy a lot of gear and fuel for fishing.

The keel of my 272 is hitting the axle of my trailer while loading. The main and forward bunks fit the hull well, but I use some fairly steep ramps on occasion. Any ideas on how to prevent this? Thanks!!

I have pulled with a 3/4 ton and a 1 ton. You can tell a stability differennce between the two when cruising. The dually just feels more planted to the road. If you are pulling a Sailfish (like me) your boat is already as wide or wider than the dually. If possible find someone who would let you...

I can pick up a Carry On A/C for a cheap price locally. Has anyone ever used one of these? The wife and I only camp on the boat a couple nights a year, and A/C would make her happy. I have not been able to find out if the Honda EU2000 willl power this unit. Thanks!

Same on my 272. It is a pain for scuba diving. If you figure out a way to mount the ladder let me know. The only way I can see to do it is to add an inspection port.
