The livewell goes completely vertical using the 625-2. However, I think the two latches behind the seats would not go up all the way using it because the positioning is not the same. I can take a pic of what it looks like the next time I am by the boat. The 625-3 goes to 10in and I think...

Sorry for not clarifying... This was for the livewell between the two stern seats.... I believe you need 625-3-45 which is what others buy...Think the same marina is selling 5lbs less... might be worth a try for the cost difference...

I didn’t use any lubricant to snake the wires I did last week. Fish tape worked great but the contents of what is already in the pvc pipes will limit what you can do. I was able to snake 2 8awg plus an nmea cable but think I’m limited out between the two pipes... Probably running my two...

Typically, yes but the prior owner might have closed off your transom. Pics of the stern might help decipher if it’s a 226 or 228. You can always call Grady and give them your HIN so they can look it up.

Maybe ask the previous owner if there was a reason they put that there. Seems to be different than the rest. What does it connect to at the top? Could it be taking off some of the weight and avoiding it from sagging??

Yes, I keep reading to countersink the screws and to make the pilot holes the size of the screw rather than a size smaller as you would with wood. Ive seen some folks that have used a screw every 2-3 inches and others very spaced apart. My plan is to minimize the holes and see if I can target...

Thanks! Pretty sure I will take off approximately 1/4 -1/2 from each side except for one where I might need to take an inch. For the one where I will be removing more from the back, is it better to use a straight or rabbet in that scenario? Or a combination of both?
