Depends on the year. If it's '92 or later it's an Explorer 24. '91 and earlier would make it an Offshore 24. It's not tall enough to be a Sailfish and the Gulfstream had much larger side windows.

The 3/8" I was speaking of in Seafoam. Fabrication is not yet complete. The hard edges will be hit with a 1/8" roundover to give it a nice, finished look.

Both the upper and lower e-box panels are now cut to size. I now have to make the cutouts for the VHFs and stereo and put a 1/8" roundover on the edges before I can install the stuff and mount the panels. The Floscan won't be moved in this initial effort. That's being put on hold for now...

He's talking about cutting the existing rail in order to insert a section that will wrap the bow pulpit he want's to install. My advice would be to take it to a welder and let him lay a bead where the two pieces meet. That should be plenty strong.

If the paint is flaking off that easily, I would get under there with a scraper and scrape it off myself to save the couple hundered in soda or sand blasting costs. But that's just me... :)

If you find that you have a bloated boat, this might work for you. I've heard of guys shrinkwrapping them and placing a powered dehumidifier under the cover. Running that fella for a few weeks/months should dry it right out and you can monitor the amount of moisure removed.

I learned on my old boat that if you have u-zip windows, opening them up and then snapping all the snaps makes is much easier. Then re-zip.

When I'm pulling at 63 mph and getting the above mileage, I have the OD turned off which locks the torque converter in 3rd gear. At that speed my 5.7 HEMI is turning 3000 (4.10s will do that for you) and singing nicely throught the SS Magnaflow. :D

Why do you say trim is useless. I use it all the time to take not of optimal trim settings for different conditions. If anything, I would substitute water pressure for the hour meter on the panel and put the hour meter somewhere else.
