    I use boat life as a sealant and for bedding hardware, above or below waterline. I am only suggesting you use boat life as a temporary fix to your small drip above. You need to address the root cause.

    Got her done! Double clamped all. The original hoses were in great condition, replaced all anyway. Feel much better now!

    Outboard spacer for transom bang plate repair

    I did not use a spacer, didnt think of it at the time unfortunately. The cost of the custom bracket was $400. I also had the the gap sealed with thicken west systems epoxy.

    Touch up paint

    I just picked some up from West Marine, I think it Moller brand - $15. I just needed to touch up a small spot on my skeg and it was perfect for that. Motor is 2019 F150.

    GW - have you considered a stainless steel bang plate cover? That's how I had mine done and do not regret it.

    I have the 208. If i could buy new with open checkbook, 228 with Hardtop.
